avaya certification list
The future of
the Accreditation Council for colleges and independent schools is set to begin
later this month when a federal accreditation committee reviews the agency's
performance. Consumer awareness groups, state legislators and Democrats in
Congress are exerting strong pressure on the National Advisory Committee on
Institutional Quality and Integrity - and ultimately on the Department of
Education, which the group recommends - to close ACICS.
But there is
much more to it than the creditor is playing in this month's investigations
from the panel called NACIQI.
The credibility
of the entire federal system of quality assurance of higher education will also
be carefully scrutinized, with important consequences for other creditors and
the Obama administration, according to many higher education experts.
Critics of
ACICS, which guarantees around 900 profit-making institutions, argue that the
organization has done little to start over in institutions that do not perform
well and cannot be seen, designated as legitimate leaders for consumer
protection and the quality of higher education. The believer was blown up by
the best democratic politicians, consumer groups and others.
